I think its a great idea but if the whole of the UK decided to live off the land what would happen to the UK economy and would there be enough land and or resources to be able to sustain the population. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Those people are blessed by God indeed. Though mostly regarded as slightly insane=) by anybody, they are indeed the most adequate people ever. Why? Because they are happy and lucky to know, to see and to comprehend something, we can't. What is it? Perhaps, extragalactic mind... Whatever it could be, I envy them a little bit.......

Geniunely blessed if I do say. This is an amazing story and proof that humans are able to live from the land and not the can. I do too, envy these people. Not a worry in their mind.

It would be amazing to visit here and see some of the things they are doing to live from just the land. I imagine their resources are very rare and strange. Thanks for sharing this.

It is really possible that solutions for environmental issues can be produced like this one this is really a great idea aside from the fact that you can save money from living in houses like those is that you can also help MOTHER EARTH :) Nice post it really catches my attention!

I think it would be a great idea to bring my kids and family here. I want them to be aware of what is happening in our world in our time. :)

It's nice to see that people still survive in that way of living, if then can, so we can. We can also live as simple as they are. don't know if this community is technically communal but I have to say it really seems very close to my idea of a "real" commune.
I've lived on a couple and I have to say, most around these days are what I'd called "failed" communes; ie' low rent housing estates for dole bludging stoners.
But in this video they show they've got a real economy, real work is done and as a result they've got a real community.
Tinkers Bubble is a beutifull example and I wish we all could live this way

How do you deal with bureaucracy?

Building permits, septic tank permits, paying rates, property taxes, income tax, then all the food-safety permits with preserves/juices...

This looks amazing but would be a nightmare for anyone not working a "regular" job to pay the required fees, certainly here in Canada.
